version 1.3

okay im just going to get into the features because i have been slacking on this for EVER

  • level select was added, it’s a bit clunky for now but you can go into each level
  • the mute button was removed because it glitched out when moving between things, but it will be back
  • fixed this one bug where the music would start over again when moving between things
  • the skins menu is updated it has a new ui (which is kind of mobile sided i feel) and a new background.
  • the skins menu now shows the NAMES of the skins, along with the artist who created it.
  • on web, i saw that the triangle character was replaced with this weird looking thing, so now the triangle character (△) is now just the word “triangle”. let me know if i didn’t get every iteration though.
  • the BUTTON for the level editor is added.. so yeah
  • there are about 4 more skins now. not telling the codes though!

i am working on the next version right away!!! alot of the feedback i got was put into this and im working on putting MORE of it in this next bit.

there will be ALOT more skins in this next version i swear. while you wait though, heres two skins..

Yo, I checked out the game again! First of all, thanks for adding the Windows build, I definitely prefer playing it native rather than in the browser. After spending some time with it, here is a bit of feedback for you:

  • Version Mismatch: The devlog and the .exe name say v1.3, but inside the main menu of the Windows application, it still shows v1.2

  • Fullscreen: It would be great if you could add a proper fullscreen mode toggling option.
  • Promo Code UI: After entering a skin promo code, a success message appears directly inside the input field. If you want to enter another code, you have to manually delete that message first. It's not critical, but just so you know. You could either update the placeholderText instead of the actual input text, or simply display a separate Label for the success message.

  • Maps: I ran into some new maps that I hadn't seen before, like the desert and the other forest. They add some really good variety to the game.

Keep it up!
